Every electrical project depends on three things agreeing: the Revit model, the single-line diagram, and the load calculations. In vanilla Revit they live in three places, and engineers keep them aligned by hand. Rename one panel, and you update it three times. Resize a transformer, and you update the single-line diagram, the upstream breaker size on the Revit panel schedule, and the voltage drop calculation.
Generating a diagram from the model once is the easy part. The cost shows up on revision twelve, when the model has moved and the diagram hasn't. This session presents a practical framework for treating the Revit model as the single source of truth, with the single-line diagram and calculations synchronized to it. Using real projects, we'll show which changes should propagate automatically instead of being redone by hand. You'll leave with a simple test for your own workflow: does a change propagate, or do you redo it by hand?
