AU is the annual gathering of the global Design & Make community. It brings together professionals across architecture, engineering, construction, product design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment to share ideas, advance industry practices, and explore the technologies shaping what’s next.

AU offers learning and networking opportunities designed for every role and career stage across the Design & Make industries.

When and where is AU 2026 taking place?

AU 2026 is September 15–17, 2026, at the Venetian Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Travel information is available on the Travel page.

Is there a Mobile App for AU 2026?

Yes, the Mobile App will launch in September and is available for anyone registered to attend AU 2026 in Las Vegas. The app is your hub for managing your schedule, planning your time, navigating the conference, and receiving notifications.

When and where can I pick up my AU 2026 badge at the conference?

You will be able to pick up your AU 2026 badge at the following times:
- Monday, September 14 from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM PT
- Tuesday, September 15 from 6:00 AM–6:30 PM PT
- Wednesday, September 16 from 6:00 AM–6:30 PM PT
- Thursday, September 17 from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM PT
Badge pick-up locations will be published in the AU 2026 mobile app and available in early September.

What are the AU Expo hours of operation?

The AU Expo will be open at the following times:
- Tuesday, September 15 from 10:30 AM–6:30 PM
- Wednesday, September 16 from 10:45 AM–6:30 PM
- Thursday, September 17 from 9:00 AM–4:30 PM

Are body-worn or hands-free recording devices allowed at AU 2026?

AU 2026 is a place for our community to build skills, strengthen connections and shape what is next. Protecting that means being clear about how conversations are captured. Please don’t wear or use body-worn or hands-free recording devices at AU unless Autodesk has expressly authorized it. This covers anything worn on the body or operated hands-free that can capture audio, video, or images without a clear, visible action by you each time.

Will there be an AU 2026 digital experience?

Yes, AU 2026 will have a digital experience featuring live-streamed and on-demand content.

When will the full session catalog be available?

The AU session catalog is available now. You can view all scheduled sessions and events here.

Is enrollment required for AU 2026 sessions?

Most sessions do not require enrollment. In previous years, pre-enrollment often led to sessions filling up well before the event. To create a more flexible and accessible experience for all, we’ve moved away from advance sign-ups for most sessions.

Instead, attendees will be able to use the agenda builder in the session catalog to favorite sessions that they are interested in attending. This will help keep track of your top session picks, plan your schedule, and make the most of your time at AU 2026.

First-come, first-served: Entry to most sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis. This ensures that everyone has an equal opportunity to attend the sessions they are passionate about.

Enrolled sessions: The two Keynote sessions will be pre-enrolled for all attendees, and Hands-on Labs and The Factory Experience require enrollment to attend.

What sessions require enrollment?

Hands-on Labs and The Factory Experience will all require enrollment. Most other programming will be open to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registered, use the “Sessions accepting enrollment” filter in the session catalog to view all of the sessions open for enrollment.

How do I build my schedule?

Once registered, browse the session catalog and use the agenda builder to favorite sessions that you would like to attend. This will add them to your schedule, help you keep track of your top session picks, and plan your time at AU 2026. You can favorite multiple sessions during the same time slot to allow for flexibility.

What learning and networking will be part of this year’s conference?

AU 2026 has many new and unique options to learn and connect with other attendees. There will be hundreds of sessions, two inspiring keynotes, certification opportunities, attendee-led conversations with Braindate, community Meetups, the new AU Clubhouse, the AU Expo, an epic AU Closing Celebration, and so much more. You can expect inspiration, new perspectives, and plenty of fun along the way!

What is Braindate?

Braindate is a unique opportunity for attendees to schedule conversations with others around the topics they are most passionate about. Create and join peer-led discussions and connect with others to exchange ideas, solve challenges, and learn from each other beyond the scheduled AU sessions.

Can I take an Autodesk Certification exam at AU 2026?

Yes, there will be opportunities for attendees to sign up for complimentary certification testing at the conference. Attendees must have a full conference pass and meet other eligibility requirements. Government employees and sponsors who do not have a full conference pass are not eligible. Complimentary testing includes one attempt at one certification exam and must be scheduled in advance through Pearson VUE.

What Autodesk Certification exams will be available to take during AU 2026?

The following exams are available as part of the AU 2026 certification testing promotion. Each eligible attendee may register for one attempt at one of these exams:

How do I register to take an exam at AU 2026?

Once you have registered with a full conference pass for AU 2026, eligible attendees will be able to register for one onsite certification exam. The AU 2026 session catalog and AU Portal will direct eligible attendees to available certification options, including open hours and other details, along with a link to register for their chosen exam via Pearson VUE. Please note that limited onsite exam slots are available.

What if all onsite certification pre-registration slots are full?

If the pre-registration slots have filled, visit the onsite testing center during AU 2026. The team will do their best to accommodate walk-up testing on a first-come, first-served basis.

In what languages will AU 2026 content be available?

All sessions and classes during the live event in Las Vegas will be offered in English only. However, subtitled translations for select content will be available online.

When will registration open for AU 2026?

Are there any benefits to registering early?

Yes, early bird pricing is available to attendees who register by August 3. The discounted rate is $1,999. After August 3 (11:59 PM PT), the standard rate of $2,250 applies. Visit the Passes page for more details.

Is there an age requirement to attend AU 2026?

Yes, all attendees must be 21 years of age or older to attend AU.

Is there an education rate for AU 2026?

Yes. Educators and students can access a special rate of $1,799 for the Full Conference Pass. To receive the discount, register using your .edu email address, and the discounted rate will apply automatically. If you’re eligible but don’t have the specified email address or don’t see the discount during checkout, please contact our support team after you begin the registration process.

Is there a government and public sector rate for AU 2026?

Yes. Government employees and military personnel can access a special rate of $1,799 for the Full Conference Pass. To receive the discount, register using your .gov email address, and the discounted rate will apply automatically. If you’re eligible but don’t have the specified email address or don’t see the discount during checkout, please contact our support team after you begin the registration process.

I can’t attend all three days. Are there Day Passes available?

Yes, Day Passes are available for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please note, the Thursday Day Pass does not include entry to the AU Celebration, but there are options available to purchase an add-on pass and attend. Visit the Passes page or your AU Portal for more information.

Can I register multiple people?

No. All attendees must register themselves by signing in with their Autodesk ID.

What is the Platform Leadership Forum and is it part of the Full Conference Pass?

The Platform Leadership Forum is a half-day experience for business leaders, software developers, and technology enthusiasts, taking place on Monday, September 14. It is not included in the Full Conference Pass, but Full Conference attendees can purchase it as an add-on.

Is there an AU Celebration Guest Pass available?

Yes. You can purchase an AU Celebration Guest Pass during registration for the Full Conference Pass. If you’ve already registered and did not select a guest pass, you can return to your AU Portal to add one.

Guest passes are intended for Full Conference attendees who wish to bring an additional guest (e.g., a friend, spouse, or family member).

Please note:
- Guests must be 21 years of age or older
- Limit of one (1) guest pass per attendee

What is the AU Portal?

The AU Portal is your personalized hub for AU 2026. Once you are registered, use your AU Portal to update your registration, add additional programming, request a visa letter, and so much more.

What is the cancellation policy?

To cancel or transfer your AU 2026 Pass, send an email request to the AU 2026 Registration Team at au.info@autodeskuniversity.com.

All valid cancellations received prior to Monday, June 8, 2026, will not be assessed a cancellation fee. Any cancellation requests between Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and Tuesday, August 4, 2026, will be assessed a $100 USD cancellation fee. Cancellations received between Wednesday, August 5, 2026, and Monday, August 17, 2026, will be assessed a $500 USD cancellation fee.

On or after Tuesday, August 18, 2026, all registration fees are non-refundable. Conference no-shows are ineligible for a refund.

Can I transfer my AU 2026 pass to someone else?

All valid transfer requests will be assessed a $100 USD transfer fee and should be requested via email to the AU Registration Team no later than Monday, August 17, 2026 (by 11:59 PM PT). Transfer requests received on or after August 18, 2026, are subject to approval. The person receiving the transfer must not be currently registered for AU 2026 at the time of the transfer request. All transfer requests must be received via email from the original attendee. For any questions or additional information surrounding cancelling or transferring your AU 2026 Pass, please contact the AU 2026 Registration Team at au.info@autodeskuniversity.com.

Is the cost of hotel accommodations included in the registration fee?

No, hotel accommodations for AU 2026 are not included in the registration fee and must be paid for at your own expense. Discounted partner hotel rates are available as part of the registration process with several conveniently located hotel options to select from.

What payment methods can I use for registration?

The accepted payment methods are credit card, check, and wire transfer.

I’m traveling to AU from outside of the United States, how can I obtain a travel visa?

When registration opens for AU, you’ll have the opportunity to request a visa invitation letter. Once your registration is paid in full, you’ll receive instructions on how to request your letter.

I have some concerns about traveling internationally due to the current political and economic uncertainties in the United States.

Are there any airline discounts available for AU attendees?

Sustainability

What actions are being taken to make AU more sustainable?

We are limiting the inclusion of beef across menu options for attendee meals and offering vegetarian and vegan options at each meal. We also use recyclable materials and glassware for the food service items and single-serving beverages as much as possible. There will be bubblers all around the main event hotels and convention center for attendees to refill water bottles. Shuttles will be offered at hotels that are located further away from the convention center and there are many hotels within walking distance.

What policies and practices does the Venetian Resort have in place?

The Venetian Resort’s sustainability program is structured around 4 core pillars: Green Buildings, Environmentally Responsible Operations, Green Meetings, and Stakeholder Engagement.
The resort has implemented sustainable Standard Operating Procedures such as turning off escalators when not in use, lowering sheer curtains in guest suites after cleaning to minimize heat gain, and dimming lights to 50% during show move-in and move-out.
Water-efficient fixtures have been installed across the campus, which saves more than 33 million gallons of water per year.
All 7,000+ guest suites, Expo Halls, and Meeting Rooms utilize the latest LED lighting technology.
The Venetian Resort diverts over 27 different materials from entering the landfill through recycling, reusing, or repurposing. This includes typical waste items such as paper and plastic, but may also include unique items such as carpet and batteries.

What can I do to support sustainability at AU?

Here are some activities that you can do to contribute to making AU as sustainable as possible:
- Bring your own water bottle and coffee thermos to avoid single use cups
- Bring your own notebook and pencil
- Rideshare or take public transportation to and from the airport
- Offset your travel emissions through organizations such as One Tree Planted and the Arbor Day Foundation.
