Electrical VDC teams routinely enter coordination late, racing to populate models while other trades claim space first. This talk shows how Owen Electric used AI-powered conduit routing to shift that dynamic across three complex jobs in three months. Instead of manually entering electrical data, the team embedded that information from the start and then explored routing options allowing for faster decisions and optimal layout. The result: modeling time cut in half, tens of thousands of feet of conduit populated, in days rather than weeks, returning time back to specs, submittals, and constructability reviews. Attendees leave with a framework to walk into the first coordination meeting fully populated as well as practical tactics to build infill data early so a lean team can take on bigger, more complex scope and meaningfully grow capacity.
