BES4067-D | Agents of Change: Mastering Agentic AI and MCP Workflows for the Multi-Discipline AEC Firm
    Login to view this video
    • Tuesday, Sep 156:00 AM - 7:00 AM PDT
      (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM GMT)

The AEC industry is undergoing a paradigm shift where the lines between software developers, industry groups, and design firms are blurring. This session explores how AI strategies are being collaboratively shaped to move beyond basic research into high-impact implementation within multi-discipline engineering environments. We will examine the evolution of AI maturity, moving from foundational context engineering to the deployment of agentic services and Model Context Protocols (MCPs) that automate complex engineering tasks. Drawing on real examples, business leaders will gain a clear view of the emerging landscape and a practical way to balance AI’s potential against the demands of modern design practice.

Learning Objective 1: Evaluate how the roles of software vendors, industry groups, and AEC firms are converging in the collaborative creation of AI-driven tools.
Learning Objective 2: Compare levels of AI maturity—from context engineering to agentic services and MCPs—to locate where their own firm sits today.
Learning Objective 3: Examine agentic AI workflows that automate complex, multi-step engineering and coordination tasks, drawing on HGA and Qnect examples.
Learning Objective 4: Develop a long-term AI adoption roadmap for firm leadership, using a framework introduced in the session.
