As owners and operators increasingly rely on digital twins, geographic information systems (GIS), and asset management platforms, expectations for consistent, accurate, and information‑rich civil deliverables continue to rise. Yet many Civil 3D workflows still rely on manual asset attribution, introducing risk, rework, and inconsistency. This session will explore how Civil 3D and Dynamo can be used to automate asset attribution, using a real‑world airport-infrastructure case study with the Houston Airports System (HAS). You will learn how rule‑based logic, Civil 3D object intelligence, and standardized data schemas are used to populate attributes for linear and point‑based assets, then export attribution‑ready data for GIS and asset management systems.
