Have you ever wanted to design a part but weren’t sure how to approach it using the available tools and materials? Would you like to analyze existing products to identify optimizations or potential failures before they occur—or transform current designs into smarter, more capable products? In this hands-on lab, we’ll use Autodesk Fusion to work more effectively across key stages of the product lifecycle—from initial concept to optimization and intelligent enhancement. Using a smart desk lamp as our example, we’ll explore three distinct workflows: designing a manufacturable component from scratch, analyzing and optimizing critical parts, and finally enhancing the product by integrating electronics to create a smarter, connected system.
